WOW! What a Year!

 

You will notice that I am a bit late getting the web site updated this year. A lot has been happening down on the farm as well as with the family. That being said, The farm has never looked better going into Blueberry Season.

 

Last fall, we pruned the Blueberry plants pretty severely. They had a lot of berries last season and put on a lot of new growth and it was time to thin the plant centers to let in more sunlight and bring the plants back down to the right size for u-pickers. The plants are looking great, the berries are beautiful and somewhat larger. Because of the heavy pruning, we will not have as many berries as we had last year, but we will have a very high quality berry and the plants will be healthier also.

 

We are looking to open the field to our email-list customers around  mid-June. I will be sending out an email a day or two before we open. We look forward to seeing you down on the farm!
